Queen Georgina

Hello my name is Georgina Mott. I am 17 years of age and I currently attend Cecil Jones studying for my GCSE’s which are; Maths, English language and literature, triple Science, Media studies, Textile arts and Drama. I want to go to South East Essex College to study Drama, Psychology and Sociology. After college I want to find a University with chances to go further in my choices of study. I would also love to go to The Poor School in London, a drama school with great achievements.

I am so proud to be chosen to represent Southend as Southend Carnival Queen 2010/2011. I wanted to do this because I’ve always liked to do charity work and this way there is so much of it to do and I’ll enjoy every bit of it. I am very excited about visiting new places and meeting new people. I’m hoping to be able to make a difference for the charities we help. I will do the best I can for Southend, which is a great place to be and for the charities we support

Princess Lauren 

Hello my name is Lauren, I’m 15 years old and in year 10 at Eastwood School. I study performing arts, French, Information Technology and Dance. Out of school I go to Roydon Academy where I do dancing, singing and acting.

I am really excited about being Southend Carnival Princess. I am really looking forward to the year ahead, taking part in all the events and making new friends along the way. I hope I make Southend proud

Hello my name is Reanne Nash, and I’m in year 9 at Shoeburyness High School. I’m a performing arts student and have been dancing since I was 2. I live with my Parents and my Brother, Jay. I aspire to be someone who people can look up to, maybe a teacher in a school or a dance teacher. I also sing and play a little guitar, so that’s something I’d like to carry on with in the future.  I’m very excited to be Southend Carnival Princess this year, and I hope to be a good role model to everyone, showing that you can make a difference. I hope I make Southend proud!
