Ashingdon, Winter Dance 2010 Review
Saturday 23rd January 2010
Building on the sucess od the previous two events our third annual winter dance was held on the evening of Saturday 23rd January 2010 at St Mary's C of E Primary school
Once again the music was provided by Southend Carnival's own Ian Jones and the evening was as ever well hosted by John Haylock from Maldon Carnival the following courts were in attendance and took part in the court of courts competition
Ashingdon,
Basildon,
Burnham ,
Enfield,
Hornsey,
Maldon,
Stanford and Corringham,
Wickford
and Witham
Southend Carnival wishes to thank all these courts for their attendance
The Court of courts competition was held for the 9 visiting courts, judged by the Mayor of Southend Councillor Brian Smith , Mayoress Lynn Smith and Hannah Fischer a long time Servant of Carnival
In Third Place was Wickford Carnival Court
In Second Place was Enfield Queen
and in First Place was Ashingdon Carnival Court
Building on successful events of past years this has now become an annual fixture in the carnival calender.
